Health and Social Care Qualifications

Active Prospects' Learning and Development Centre delivers the new Level 2 and 3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care.  These diplomas have replaced the Health and Social Care NVQs at levels 2 and 3.

Depending on your job role, there are options to take a generic Diploma or a specialist pathway in dementia, learning disability or mental health.  This allows you to further tailor your learning to your job role and the scheme that you work at.

Managers are required by Care Quality Commission regulations must have the ‘necessary qualifications, skills and experience’ to carry out the regulated activity. The current, relevant qualification is the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
